Copy Click Paste is a platformer where you BUILD by copying and pasting platforms! 

The game was made for The Blackthornprod Game Jam in 1 Week, the theme being game development.

This game is about collecting and finding errors by copying parts of other levels into the level to find a way to continue.

The idea of Copy Click Paste was inspired about the common beginners tip in coding were you should be careful of Copying and Pasting as though useful, copying and pasting isn't always perfect and can have problems  this is shown with the spikes that show up in game

I really enjoyed making this game as before many of my games didn't have big interesting mechanics whilst in this game building is crucial to success! 

Originally the game was going to be very similar to the End Is nigh (made by Edmund McMillen, and Tyler Glaiel), however with the End Is nigh's open-world style levels, it became confusing tracking the players position, levels and what can and can't they build. As well as that I don't believe it added much to the experience and so I got rid of that Idea and now use a more traditional method (In-Game).
